Marching Band Student Contribution ($260) covers personal expenses including meals and training apparel. Black shoes/gloves/socks are required for competitions (please check with your child whether you need to purchase for them). Student Contribution may be offset by Bingo credit and Financial aid. Please see Description below for more details.

The suggested student contribution typically funds less than ~1/3 of the cost per Marching Band student. The difference in the budget, which covers coaching, drill design, music licensing, props, equipment transportation, and competition entrance fees, is covered by the Music Boosters with fundraisers and donations. We strongly encourage all music families to get involved, volunteer, and/or make donations to support SPHS Instrumental Music programs!

The Student Contribution covers personal expenses including meals during Band Camp and competitions ($110), shorts ($21), t-shirts ($12), show shirt ($15), warm-up jacket ($78), and uniform cleaning ($24).

Black shoes/gloves/socks are required for marching band competitions. The students may use their own black socks. Some band members do not need gloves. The Band room might have some used shoes for loan. Your child may have already ordered them from the Student Uniform Manager. Please check with them at first whether you need to pay for these items.
