Color Guard Shopping List

The Color Guard Student Contribution covers personal expenses including meals during Band Camp and competitions, practice gear, show shirts/pullover, and color guard costumes.

The color guard fee for 2025-26 at the early bird rate is $460/student, paid before 9/7/25. From 9/7/25 onwards, the fee increases to $500 to cover late processing surcharges.

Please check with your color guard student whether they need shoes, gloves, undergarments, etc.

Installment payment options and Financial Aid are available. No student is denied participation in the program due to financial need.  Please send a request to sphsmusicboosters@gmail.com.

The suggested student contribution typically funds less than ~1/3 of the cost per Marching Band student. The difference in the budget, which covers coaching, drill design, music licensing, props, equipment transportation, and competition entrance fees, is covered by the Music Boosters with fundraisers and donations. We strongly encourage all music families to get involved, volunteer, and/or make donations to support SPHS Instrumental Music programs!
